Saving Brushes

Need a bit of help with saving brushes for future use? You'll like this tutorial then!

It will be in two sections...

Image Packs
1) Open up your brushes from the image pack brush set you have downloaded. Or alternatively, you can draw/scan in your own brushes! (Like what I have done for this tutorial).

2) Click on the Crop Tool. Select the area of a brush that you want to save, I'm going to save the star. Make sure you copy the whole image pack before so you don't lose any of the other brushes if you want them.

3) If there are other brushes in the way, erase them out carefully (zoom in if you have to).

4) Your brush should look something like this now:

Click on the Brush Tool.
At the top, you will see the Brush Tool's settings. Click on the "presents" drop down.

5) Click on the brush tip icon on the bottom right.

Rename your brush to whatever you like. Then click OK.

You have just saved a brush! Click off the presents menu and go back on it again to see your brush displayed on the previews.

In PSP format download
1) Download and extract the files.
2) At the top, click on File >> Import >> Custom Brush.

3) Click on Open and browse through to the files you've downloaded.

4) Select the brushes that you want to keep and click "Add". Or you can click "Add All" if you want all brushes. Click OK. And they should be all imported to your brush section!
