Pixel Text
Using pixel fonts1) Open a new page, around 300 by 200 pixels.
2) Find the Flood Fill Tool and select a light background. White normally works best.
3) Click on the Text Tool and write whatever you want to make into a pixel.
Now change the font to a pixel font. I have gone for "Silkscreen", size 8 (8/9 works best), and make it created as a "Floating" text.
This should have 'marching ants' around the text.
4) Go to Selections >> Modify >> Expand.
5) Make it one or two pixels. Click OK.
6) Right click on the title bar window of your text and select Copy Merged (or Edit >> Copy Merged).
7) Go to a grey on your workspace, right click and select Paste As New Image (or Edit >> Paste As New Image).
And there you have it. Look how mine turned out below:
